While selecting a USB port for a headset may seem straightforward, choosing the right one directly impacts call stability and audio quality.
First Choice: Native Computer USB Ports
- Desktop Users: Plug the USB connector directly into one of the computer's USB ports. However, we recommend using a port located on the back of the computer case; these ports offer more stable power delivery and less signal interference, effectively preventing static noise or connection dropouts during calls. (It is not uncommon-a recurring issue we frequently encounter at our manufacturing facility-for a headset to malfunction when plugged into a front-panel port but return to normal operation when plugged into a rear port.)
- Laptop Users: Simply plug the headset into any available USB port on either side of the laptop body; due to the shorter internal wiring within laptops, there is generally no significant difference between the ports.
