how to install usb headset?

Step 1: Hardware Connection and Driver Installation

  • Plug the USB connector directly into a USB port on your computer. For desktop computers, it is recommended to use a port on the back of the case (for a more stable signal); for laptops, simply plug it directly into an available port.
  • Once connected, the system will automatically detect and install the necessary drivers; simply wait for the completion notification to appear. (If specialized drivers are required, it is recommended to download the accompanying software from the official website.)

Step 2: System Settings
1. Windows

  • Start > Settings > System > Sound
  • Set Output Device (Speakers): Under "Output device," click the drop-down menu and select your current headset.
  • Set Input Device (Microphone): Under "Input device," click the drop-down menu and select your current headset.

2. Linux/macOS:

  • Open "System Settings" > "Sound"
  • In the "Output" and "Input" tabs, select your USB headset respectively.

3. For conferencing software (such as Zoom or Teams) or within games, please manually designate your USB headset as the audio device.
